Studio Policies Covid-19 Guidelines

-Client must complete the Pre Screening questionnaire before entering the building. Please call us and we will bring out the questionnaire.
-Clients must stay home if presenting symptoms of COVID-19 , or any cold or flu like symptoms, and make us aware as soon as possible
-Employees must be in good health with no symptoms of COVID-19, have not travelled by air or out of province for 14 days.

-Employees and clients must immediately don facial masks upon entry to the studio, they will be asked to wash or sanitize their hands and phone upon entering and exiting studio
-Studio will be open by appointment only. No walk-in foot traffic or friends/family/spectators will be permitted.
- Please only bring when you need to the appointment no extra bags, drink or food
- No guests will be permitted at this time, please come alone

We may not be able to perform the service for you if you have the following:
You are on Accutane or have been in the last 12 months.
You have allergies to Lidocaine or nickel.
You are on blood thinners, or have any heart condition
You will require a doctors note for your appointment if you have the following:
You have diabetes.
You have had a recent surgery.
You are on Accutane or have been in the last 12 months.
You have recently had chemo.
Have a compromised immune system.
You are on blood thinners
What to avoid before procedure:
Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before procedure
Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face
Do not have any type of facial/peel 2 weeks prior to treatment
Discontinue Vitamin A/Retinol products one month prior to treatment
Do not work out the day of the procedure.
Do not have botox less than 3 weeks prior
Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (natural blood thinners)
Do not wax or tint your eyebrows 3 days before the procedure.
In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:
Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo
Do not consume coffee before your procedure
Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief (this thins the blood)

Certain skin types, underlaying medical conditions, skin care regime or being in the sun, and smoking cigarettes may be a factor in the way you heal
BOTCHED INK SALINE REMOVAL
Contraindications
Botched Ink® Saline Tattoo Removal cannot be performed on:
Any open or active acne spots or wounds, active herpes outbreaks
Warts, fungal infections or any other acute infection or inflammation of the skin
Skin malignancies, raised moles
Those taking blood thinning medication or have Hepatitis B or HIV
Unstable diabetes
Active keloids
Botched Ink® is not recommended for those with the following:
Hyperpigmented or hypopigmented areas anywhere on their body
Blood clotting problems, poor healing
Low white blood count (poor immunity)
Lupus, vitiligo, immune system disorders (these can trigger an attack or activity)
Use Botched Ink® with caution on those:
With a hangover (likely to bleed more during treatment)
With visible blood capillaries or thin skin (may take longer to stop bleeding)
With visible veins (need to work at shallow depths, lift skin when working)
Who bruise easily (likely to cause bruising), anaemia (may pass out)
On anti-depressant medication (may trigger bout of depression)
With dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis, rosacea (dormant or low inflammation only)
On pain medication (likely to find treatment painful)
Have managed diabetes, smoker (slow healing)
With asthma, hay fever, allergies (histamine reaction to needling)
Have sensitive skin that’s prone to swelling after a treatment (eyes may become swollen during the first night)
